The last time I tried a Witcher 3 playthrough was roughly…2017? (I logged just shy of 70 hours.) I can’t recall what made me drift off – I think it was a blend of the fact that it’s a huge story game (not that I don’t like the story, but I prefer the books) and I think a little bit was the timing – I was weaning myself off of arrow keys to WASD and found the combat/spells/etc. to be unwieldy for me at that time. I gotta say, though, this remaster looks fucking awesome and it’s really tempting me to start a new save. Though! I find that I almost want to start it on the Steam Deck? Which then just leads to a circular (inner) argument of “to really take advantage of the changes and upgrades I bet it would be better on PC but moooom I don’t waanaaa”

resident evil looks good but not dying to see it. so many times games to movies or game to tv book to movie or tv and its crap. for out of the box side story filler gaps in lore and fan fiction etc SD perry has written an great retelling of resident evil series with fillers for characters and things not mentioned or brought into light. go read the series. will see it as soon as its available from home.

Witcher 3 Remastered will go out for free to all game owners, so right now there’s a mad ass fucking scramble for folks to get the cartridge for Switch to get the Switch 2 version.
I think this take on RE is pretty interesting, at the very least it seems to bring back some of the dread and horror of the early games. Idk what the fuck is going on in the doorway but I hate it. Ooooh speaking of, The Forest as a movie would also be terrifying.
