Black Friday Deals – 7th Pass

Early Black Friday chaos is here!

Man, these Black Friday posts arrive earlier and earlier every year, Amirite? Many of the sales I’m seeing are open to “VIPs” – basically, folks that are on the email/SMS lists. (Like me!) I shared codes where I could, but many are tied to login links, so you’re shit out of luck, for now.

If you find any great deals I missed, be sure to drop a comment below!

To avoid confusion, I’ll update this post over the month and link/ping it again whenever it’s updated.

Nerd Stuff

Steam – Running a small BF sale, so check your wishlist! I myself had better luck with Fanatical’s sales.

Mechanism – Gaming on your (massive) Steam Deck breaking your arms? Pick up a gaming pillow on sale!

Fanatical – Rocking AWESOME game sales; the bulk are active for the next week, while some are flash sales for 24 hours. I saw deals on Outbreak Island, Floodland, Forever Skies, Survival: Fountain of Youth, and more!

Humble – Offering a year of Humble Choice for $124.99, ends December 1st.

Steelseries – Currently running their BF/CM sales across headsets, keyboards, mice, and accessories.

Carrd Offering 40% off their Pro Plan using code BLK2025. Hands down, my favorite one-page website builder. (Great templates, super easy, you can use custom domains, you get 10 sites on the Pro plan, and more!)

ElgatoKeep an eye on their BF sale page; some sales are active today, and some won’t go live until November 28th.

Anker – Pretty much my number #1 spot for charging equipment, though I tend to order from Anker directly rather than Amazon. Amazon typically has similar sale pricing. I actually daily carry this charger, which is excellent across my entire electronics kit – laptop, smartwatch, iPads, Switch, etc.

Envato – Get 25% off a full year of Envato Elements! It’s a great one stop shop if you’re doing a Podcast or videos – tons of grapics, clips, sound FX, music, and more.

Bags

Let’s split this into two buckets:
– brands I have hands-on experience with, so I can answer questions!
– brands I haven’t owned, but know them to be reputable/quality

EDC/OUTDOORS/CLOTHING

REI- Running their Holiday Sale with savings of up to 30% on select items – here’s a link to that sale page directly. (Though, I’m still mad at them for their little fuck up with backing that moron –IYKYK–so if you happen to have a kick ass outdoor shop locally, check there for deals first, yanno?)

LUNO- Nap Friday deals are live across the entire site, from car mattresses to sleep accessories.

OLight: Let there be (flash)light(s)!

Uberleben – Great spot for outdoor gear! I love my Stoker (stove) and Kessel (pot)- and their ferro rods are fantastic.

Meriwool- I’m a big fan of their Merino Wool base layers! (Wear them every season except summer!)

BeardedGoatThink, comfy outdoor lounge clothing. I LOVE my Rover pants. I have like six pairs, and I get them all at deep discounts. I wear them in all seasons. (I basically stopped wearing jeans.) Their void sweats are also hella comfy.

Merrell – I am a massive fan of my Moab boots (though I tend to wear Danner for longer treks); they make a quality, affordable piece of gear.

Creepers – Becca and I are huge fans of our creepers- who doesn’t love toe socks!? Also you can get an asston of hikes done in them without any odor, and they rinse free of mud super easy.

Paka – My fav spot for alpaca apparel, I’m actually wearing ‘The Hoodie‘ as I type this!

Daggerfish Gear – If you’ve ever wanted to try handlining, check this out! (They also offer a free Guide to Handline Fishing manual)

Ikigai Cases There’s something so satisfying about my Mission case, maybe because I like organization and EDC gear? (Could also be the neat splatter color.)

Pull Patch – They’re running 50% off the entire site, and it’s a great time to stock up on patches. I run patches daily on my hat, my gear, and bags. (I even had a Hashtag Survival custom patch made!) They’ve got some hilarious patches, too.

    PETS

Holistapet – BOGO- buy one get one is a fantastic deal! This is the only place we snag CBD treats/tinctures for our mega-herd of cats.

Catastrophic Creations – If you have: money, cat(s), and the ability to hang shit on your wall, check them out. Their BF sales are a little wonky, a bit of a drop schedule, and then some deals are newsletter only, but it’s completely worth it.

    MISC

Streaming Services! If you MUST subscribe to a streaming service, this is hands down the best time to do so because there are major ass deals. You can routinely see platforms that charge 10-15 bucks a month offer deals like 2-3 bucks a month (Hulu) or 20-30 bucks for an entire year (Peacock). Speaking of, Hulu JUST emailed me this code (6SNACQNM86JR) that is good for returning non-active customers, and nets you 2.99/month for 6 months.

Planet of the Vapes- Now running their BF sale pricing! They offer great pricing, customer service, and a wide array of brands. We’d personally recommend either the PotV Lobo or One.

GIBBON Balance Boards BF pricing is now live on all Slackboards! I own one of their single-line models, and I love it. Balance training is hugely beneficial to strength, stability, and in a ton of other ways – and I’ve noticed better ankle flexibility and less stiffness in my legs.

Leaf Shave – Getting away from regular razors (and endless cartridges) was legit one of the best things we’ve done, and we love our leaf safety razors. Easy upkeep, cheap catridges, lasts forever. (Pro tip: purchase safety razor blades on Amazon and snap them in half for dual head razors. I love Astra blades.)

Johnny Slicks – Hands down my favorite beard shampoo, but I also love their beard oils! (My number 1 FAVORITE THING is their Slick Scrub!)

Alrighty, that’s all for now – till the next update!
